Make Your Own Luxurious and Fragrant Body Lotion Bars

I am always excited to find another way to become more sustainable, having skills down that help to improve my every life, by giving me simple yet valuable tools to use every day.

My body lotion bar was just one of those finds.

It is portable, fragrant, and does such a great job at keeping the skin moisturized and nourished. My favorite so far is my Ylang lang-Lavender Bar. Ylang lang essential oil has a light and floral fragrance that uplifts, while lavender essential oil soothes and heals. My added bonuses of Olive oil, Vitamin E oil, and Grapeseed oil, are icing on the cake, when it comes to packing anti-inflammatory, soothing, toning, and healing elements to this rich body bar.

I was inspired to make my own lotion bars from the book

"The Big Book of Homemade Products for Your skin, Health and Home: Easy, All-Natural DIY Projects Using Herbs, Flowers and Other Plants" by Jan Berry

The bar is so versatile, and you can change up the fragrances and element to fit your needs.

Try your hand at making your own.
