Antibiotic Overuse Will Leave Us Scrambling for Needed Medications

When antibiotics are overused, and given too frequently, it can cause resistance, and the risk of not being able to treat common ailments. We need to be antibiotic stewards, and use these medications, when needed, to protect every one of us.

Please try to understand when your doctor does not feel there is an indication for medications, that there is usually a medically sound reason. If concerned about a decision, always ask questions, in the end, decisions need to be made with your child's best interest in mind.
