"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no Torah"

Galatians 5:22-23

Dr. Monique Adu grew up in Brooklyn NY, with aspirations to make a difference in health care. She loved to teach from a very young age, and found Pediatrics a perfect fit for her passions and goals. She earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology from Long Island University, and then went on to earn her Osteopathic Medical Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine. She then trained in Pediatrics at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta GA.

She has been serving parents, infants, children, and young adults for several years, and has a passion for preventive medicine, as prevention of illness is our nation's best cure.

She practiced as a general pediatrician for over 7 years, and then decided to leave standard practice, to focus on her family, and continue to teach families. However, this time, with a broader outreach, on how to live a sustainable, whole food plant-based lifestyle to prolong life, by preventing, reversing and treating disease, one fork full of food at a time.

She is also especially interested in the art of homemaking: providing for and managing one's home with sustainable living and eating choices, that promote wellness, and health.

In sharing simple, and practical tips, it is her hope to help families become well informed and empowered.
